Your website is an important part of your business, available 24/7 your website it tells the world whatever you want! It doesn’t need to be complicated… who, what, where and maybe a little of how can get your message out.

The process

Following our initial discussion I will send you a design questionnaire to fill in. This will establish your website requirements, colour preferences and any other ideas you may have. With a little bit of content/imagery from you… the next step is up to me. I’ll create an initial home page template for your approval. Once approved, depending on the scope of the project I will create your other template pages. Depending on design, size and content, your website may take between two to four weeks to build. Once you give final sign off, your website goes live.

Content and Images

Ideally you will provide most of the content before the design stage as this will help me to understand your business and website needs. I can provide guidance on content requirements, or alternatively I offer copy writing services if you need some help. I will also need a copy of your company logo and any imagery you want on your website.

Fully responsive website – 4 pages

Estimated cost from $650 for a basic 4 page website excluding GST. For example, you could have a homepage, 2 services pages and a contact page. You supply your logo, the imagery and the website copy.

This cost also allows for:

  • Set up of Domain name, email and hosting package*
  • Loading of key content and imagery

Fully responsive website – 8/12 pages

Estimated cost from $1035 – $1600 excluding GST for a basic 8/12 page website. For example, you could have a homepage, about us and contact pages and a number of different pages for services and products. You supply your logo, the imagery and the content.

This cost includes:

  • Set up of Domain name, email and hosting package*
  • Loading of key content and imagery
Additional website services, charged at an hourly rate include:
  • Image sourcing**, image manipulation & website graphic creation – for a basic 4 page website as a guideline, please allow an average of 2-4 hours
  • Copy writing – allow 1-2 hours per webpage

These prices are guidelines only, it depends on the complexity of your website and content.

All estimated costs are in NZ dollars and exclude GST.

*Seperate charges apply for domain registration, email and hosting – see Domain Registration and website hosting below.
**Additional charges may apply for some images.

The annual charge for domain name registration is from $21.50 per year. Website hosting and two emails from $150 per year. Prices quoted are excluding GST.

  • If required, I can give you back end access to your site allowing you to manage your own content.
  • If needed, I can provide you with basic training (see below) on using the content management system so you can do it yourself, or
  • You can schedule me in and I’ll do it for you.
Content Management System

Websites are built on an open source content management systems, either Concrete5 or WordPress, allowing a host of opportunities for future website development and easy access for ongoing management.

Training

Training is done online via TeamViewer, one to one training can be arranged if you live in the area, please talk to me.

There are three options available to choose from… Light, Business or Ad-hoc, what suits you will depend on your needs. Things to consider:

  • is the content supplied, or

does the content need to be written?

$60 per hour – website updates, new content, SEO updates, new imagery…

The Light package is designed for sole traders and small business or companies that only require one update per month.

$100 per month for 2 hours – website updates, new content, SEO updates, new imagery…

The business package is ideal for any business that requires regular website updates.

$250 per month for 5 hours – website updates, new content, SEO updates, new imagery…

Some ‘changes’ will not take long, so a number of small changes can be accomplished within ‘one hour’. Please contact me to discuss this in more detail.

Reminders

Both the Light and the Business Packages include email reminders if required.
